Story Updates...And Apparently...

amberfocusI can't count. It's been seven months, not six since I started writing DW fanfic. See, that's what happens when you have a week with killer insomnia, you lose the ability to perform the lower math functions. Like counting to seven. On your fingers. *sighs meladramatically* *repeats sigh for those who didn't hear it the first time*
But good newses! I finished chapter three of Pain and it's with my beta, the ever lovely JeopardyFriendly. And she promises to get it back to me tonight, so it should be up before midnight PDT, possibly sooner. Hurray for super quick betas. I'm actually quite happy with it. And no, they did not have sex, but purring Nine is currently dancing around the room because I've written part of the next Moments in Darkness story and he's getting "the sex" and couldn't be happier. Rose isn't capable of standing up, though. *grins* She's just kind of laying there with this really stupid, blissed out expression on her face. Although she apparently can still count to seven (as in orgasms) without the use of her fingers. I'm just kidding aobut the seven orgasms. But she still can count. Not sure she can remember her name, though. I'll ask. *pauses* Nope, she's forgotten her name. *laughs*
I'm doing a minor rewrite of A Place in Time and have started posting it here. Mostly just cleaning some stuff up, fixing little things. I may possibly add smut in place of the fade to black, since I wasn't writing real smut at the time I wrote that, but if I do, I'll let you know in one of these update posts.
Tonight and tomorrow I am working on ch. 10 of Hunger Moon and maybe some on vortex if I have time. I'm also in the process of fixing up Andromeda Rising, the true sequel to Post Pomp. It has Jack, Ten and Rose, Cassi and Daniel, their daughter Andromeda, of course, Dare and Martha, all of the kids... I'll need to do up the family tree again for that. It has so many little things wrong with it and I'll need to break it into smaller chapters because LJ doesn't allow posts over 3000 words. Plus, it's not finished, but I am currently plotting out the rest of the story.
For those who wanted a sequel to Post Pomp, Andromeda Rising is it. It takes place ten years after Post Pomp in Jack's personal time line. He is 33. It is before the Blitz. It takes place about 45 years later in Ten and Rose's timeline, and they've had six chidren and four grandchildren. In Cassi's timeline, Post Pomp hasn't even happened yet and won't for another year and a half. Did I mention it's timey whimey? *grins* Oh, and it takes place during Jack's missing two years. So he'll be blissfully happy during those two years with Andromeda, but I'm going to break hearts when he loses his memories on this one.

Funny. =) I imagined you sticking your head in the TARDIS and asking a blissed-out Rose if she could still remember her name while the Doctor watches in shock.

I just always imagine Ten, because he's the one who's still acting. I know it's Nine, really. I just imagined that little scene completely separate from your pre-existing fic. =)
