Drabble 3

bloose09 wanted Nine/Rose and left the prompt "Adoration." This one kind of came out a little more introspective than I'd intended. Oh, well. The muse goes where it must.



Rose fights with him every step of the way. She shouts him down, calls him on his crap, and doesn’t budge one inch.

He loves every minute of it.

It never stops him from reaching for her hand, never stops her from reaching for his. But it’s the look that truly makes the Doctor question everything about them.

It’s not devotion, but adoration. She loves everything about him and is willing to forgive him for anything he does wrong. It scares him because he has a lot to be forgiven for.

Will that look remain once she knows the truth?
