Chapter Seventeen:  A Day In Paris

Rose sighed in happiness as she and the Doctor walked along the Champs Elysées. They had seen the obelisk at the Place de la Concorde and were walking towards the Place Charles de Gaulle, or was it still called the Place de l'…toile in this time? She could never remember when it had changed. They’d be ending at the Arch de Triomphe. It was only two kilometers and they’d often run that easily being chased by someone or something. It was nice to be doing it at a leisurely stroll.

Made Some Banners

So I've been learning my photo editing software slowly but surely and I've been making banners.  This is the first time I tried to futz with coloring and stuff.  I'm not very good at it yet, but a couple of them I quite like.  On the last Ten one and the last Rose one I was going for a more abstract feel to things.  Anyway, thought I'd share them here.  Don't think I'll put them up elsewhere, though.

Made Some Banners

Chapter Eighteen:  Afterglow

“So did they really not have chips in that other universe?” the Doctor asked her, his fingers idly stroking the bare skin of her hip and thigh. “Or were you just putting me on?” It was seven hours later and Rose was seriously considering getting him a T-shirt that read Time Lords Do It All Night Long. And maybe something about mind blowing super novas going off should be included in there somewhere, too. Was she supposed to have seen that in her mind?

Chapter Eighteen:  Afterglow

“So did they really not have chips in that other universe?” the Doctor asked her, his fingers idly stroking the bare skin of her hip and thigh. “Or were you just putting me on?” It was seven hours later and Rose was seriously considering getting him a T-shirt that read Time Lords Do It All Night Long. And maybe something about mind blowing super novas going off should be included in there somewhere, too. Was she supposed to have seen that in her mind?

Am Annoyed and Story Updates

If you're waiting up for me to post Nine!fic tonight, go to sleep.  It ain't happening.  Tomorrow there will be something, but not tonight.  I am having a bit of a crappy day today.  Mostly because somebody cut the paint on our new car.   We haven't even had it a month yet.  There is a perfectly straight line across the hood and down one side to the tire.  I mean the line is perfectly straight, this wasn't a random keying thing, this was a very deliberate and precise act.  Like box cutter and a ruler precise or garot wire with two people standing on either side of the car and just bringing it down and slicing through the paint.  It's too perfect.  You can't really see it unless you're standing right there, but I know it wasn't there this morning when I took the kids to school this morning and it was there when I went out to pick them up from school, which means it happened between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., when I was home.  In my driveway.  I'm thinking it probably happened after 2:30 when the junior/senior high school bus came, but before I left.
