Take Me Fishing

Rose Tyler does not have any idea what the Doctor is up to as he throws open her bedroom door and bursts into her room. He has been uptight for several days now, almost afraid to be in the same room with her. Twenty-four hours of amazing sex and then he had reverted to his old self, bumbling and goofy and obnoxiously chaste. So when he suddenly appears dressed in a ridiculous outfit, or what to her appears to be a ridiculous outfit, she’s a little off in her reaction. She laughs at him.

Rose and the Doctor, well, Rose really, had decided they should shower separately when the sounds of imminent materialization filled the ship.  Taking one together would just delay matters for far too long, even if the Doctor had just entered fully into his refractory period.  Even totally sated he liked to use his hands and tongue in unique and interesting ways and was quite good at distracting her with them, so Rose rather had to insist.
