...But my head is still full of congestion. I have a doctor's appointment for Tuesday so hopefully this is taken care of soon. Anyway, I finished chapter eleven of Wolf Moon this morning, sent it off to Jep to beta, went back to sleep after the kids went to school, woke up to find it back from Jep and posted it to LJ. I sent it in to Teaspoon at 2:30 and it's 9:30 now and still no sign of it, so obviously a slow day over there. Picked up the kids from school and went back to sleep. Rose made soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner for the three of us. I so love having a competent eleven year old. Even if I did sit in the kitchen with my head on the table just on the off chance that she'd burn the house down if I didn't.
I've managed to write 700 words on a chapter of Repercussions today. Rose and Owen are still locked in the vault. It's been eighteen hours and Owen is starting to get on Rose's nerves. Not in the way he would in this universe. Mostly it's just being stuck together for that many hours and him being a bit condescending about her age.
I wanted to work on Of the Vortex Born but I think I need a clearer head to write full on smut. And considering where I left the last chapter that's where it'll pick up. I'm starting to get over my writer's block on Andromeda Rising, too. Took me a while but I've got a good surge of ideas going on it again. Now I just have to wait for my brain to function. I can't pound out three or four chapters a day on three or four different stories when I feel this bad. Wolf Moon is still driving me hard to get it out of my head though, so it's probably the one that will get the most attention until I'm well.
I watched two episode of Life on Mars on the free On*Demand today. I'm glad I didn't watch Life on Mars before I saw John Simm as the Master. I never would have bought him in the role of the Master if I'd seen him play Sam Tyler first. I like him too much as Sam. They're putting Torchwood season 2 up now, first two episodes are on it, so I'll tape all of those without a zillion commercials as they come up. I think we're only ten days behind the airing schedule in the U.K. I hope they do that with season 4 of Doctor Who, either on BBC/America or on sci-fi channel.
I'm getting the first season of Torchwood on DVD for my birthday next week, so I'm a little too excited about that.
