The angle of his
A glimpse in the moonlight
That shows what this is

Gold strands made of silk
That fall at her neck
Three hearts beating quickly
They both are a wreck

Eyelashes that tickle
The side of his cheek
A mind that’s not fickle
A soul that’s not weak

Fingers that slide softly
On skin that’s made bare
She gasps as she sees him
He swallows, aware

The storm is oncoming
Temptation is strong
A whisper, a sigh
This cannot be wrong

For years she has waited
Ten lifetimes has he
At last they give in
And are finally set free
