Re pharmacies, I've actually been very happy with our local Walgreens - we've used them since before the kids were even born. Which of course meant that we had to switch to CVS this year, due to some flap between Walgreens and AvMed. CVS has NOT been an enjoyable experience. I agree with you about local pharmacies, but between my long med list and my traveling, it's better to have a pharmacy with national coverage.
