I Love My Hair

So I went to the salon this morning after not having gotten a haircut in probably a year. I basically went from this:



with all it's control and manageability (HA!) to this:



only parted in the middle and about 2 inches longer and my natural reddish brown with a bit of grey. My head feels so light and this should help with the headaches I've been having. I swear she cut off a pound of hair. Tonight I'll wash out all the product she put in (no more 4 hours to dry naturally!) and then tomorrow I will color it so it will be reddish brown without the grey. I haven't colored it in over a year, because it would have taken 3 boxes and more patience than I have.

It's funny how you don't really notice how much your hair weighs until after it's all gone. I recently had about a foot chopped off, and it was strange how light it all felt.

I need to get mine cut too really, but I just can't seem to find the time, or enthusiasm.
