I really, really, really don't like chapter eleven of Zeppelins. I think I may have to toss it out and start from scratch. *grumble grumble* 2000 words of crap. *sighs*
Well, I haven't read it obviously, but nothing you write is crap. I agree with jeprdyfrndly, go to sleep and come back to it fresh. I'm sure it'll be great x
I must concur with the other posts here- i have yet to read anything of your that i did not adore. That being said, don't let any of us pushy readers convince you to post anything you aren't happy with. I'd rather wait the extra time (chewing my fingernails in anticipation) than see you post something you don't love.
No, No, No. You said you were going to get some rest. You had trouble sleeping again, didn't you. I can't help but feel this is somehow my fault. I meant it when I said it was good. I just wanted you to know I support you if you feel it needs readjusting. I am sorry if I wasn't more helpful.
I'm sure it's better than you think. I'm very eager to see where it's going. I was literally bouncing in my seat when the sky was lighting up. From the moment I learned that Jonathan's boss was named John Lumin I've been suspecting that this fic was going to turn into more than just a romance story. :) I know you have plenty of betas and people to bounce ideas off of, but I'm also happy to help however I can if you ever feel you need it.
Don't know if you ever watched West Wing, but I always use this icon when I'm whining about my own unhappiness with my writing, so I thought I might make you laugh.
I've got it well sorted now. Just trying to rush certain things and then being too tired and not given myself time away from it when I needed time away from it. Much better now. Thanks. And thanks for the offer. I may take you up on it one day.
I know I commented separately in the chapter itself, but that chapter of Zeppelins was brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Just felt the need to say it again.
I'm happy to help however I can, whenever you might need it.
Thank you. I'm glad I was able to get past what was bothering me and turn it around, because it's a much, much better chapter now and the pacing is on track instead of being rushed, which it would have been if I went the other way. It just turned out so well, and I'm really happy with it now.
These are all words I associate with your writing - funny didn't notice crap among them. I'm sure it's no fun to be unhappy with a chappy (oh that rhymes - a bit of a Ten moment there) but to us it will be sublime. *sends big Brit hugs*
yep have to agree to list. Though you did miss a few like, Humorous, ingenious, expressive, witty, fascinating, drool worthy, smashing, delightful, and not to mention my frequently very articulate reactions to some of your chapters guhhhh droooooool, and of course there are the ever popular left speechless till I run down my sexy husband moments.
*Looks at list* No crap here either must not happen :D
Well, I've obviously not read the chapter in question, but I honestly do not think you are CAPABLE of writing 2000 words of crap. Seriously. Sleep on it and then re-read it in the morning, see if you dislike it as much after taking a break from it.
Okay, the first 1200 words were actually quite good and salvagable. *smirks* The others were just rushing the plot and I pulled them aside for later. Thank for the kind words.
I think I know where you're coming from -- I've just recently rewritten three chapters (scrapped the original ones) of my original novel. My beta said they'd be fine with tweaking, but I was so unhappy with them that I just had to do it over again. Ultimately, it was worth it, but it was frustrating at the time. (Still is, actually... I'm in the middle of rewriting Chapter Ten).
It's so hard to be a perfectionist and a writer! I hope, whatever you decide to do, you turn out happy with the final result.
I don't even know that I am a perfectionist as a writer. But I get a very uncomfortable feeling when things don't quite work right and it takes me a bit to track it down. Which I did finally do and obviously the chapter turned out just fine. Hope your book works out fine, too.

I have yet to read something of yours that I don't just love to bits. This, whatever the incarnation, will not be an exception to that.
