Don't you hate it when you are trying to write smut and your characters just want to have a conversation?

 

Nine:  Nothing wrong with a good conversation.  Conversations are informative.


Me:  Don't think my readers are waiting for information right now.

Rose:  This is important for our relationship.  We need to talk about this.


Me:  Oh, yeah?  Yesterday you were just begging me to let you two shag.  Now I sit down to write it and all you want to do is talk.  I'm starting to believe that claptrap about the Doctor being asexual.

Nine:  You...you...what?


Rose:  *gasps in horror*  That's not...that's not...possible.  Is it?


Me:  I wouldn't have thought so.  UNTIL NOW.

Nine:  How--how dare you?  I am a sexual being.


Me:  Really?  Couldn't prove it by me.  Not today anyway. 

Nine:  Ask...ask anyone.  Well, not Moffat.  But anyone else.  Ask fangirls.


Me:  Anyone?

Donna:  Well...he's better than the skinny streak of bacon, but...no.


Nine:  She's not a fangirl!

Reinette:  I personally like the bacon.


Random Faith is Random:  Well, I like the leather with the ears.  He can join me in bed.  I wouldn't kick him out.


Random Fan:  Or me!

Other random fan:  Or me!


Nine:  See?  Not asexual!


Me:  Don't sulk.

Nine:  I'm not.  I just don't understand how you could possibly accuse me of--.


Rose:  Doctor?


Nine:  Yes, Rose?


Rose:  What's with you in bed with all these other women?


Nine:  It's not what you think.


Rose:  Really?


Nine:  Really.  That was my past.  You're my future.  You know you're the only one that I can...that I...


Rose: Yeah?


Nine:  Yeah.


Me:  So can you guys stop talking and shag now?

Nine and Rose:  Okay.  Just give us a minute to finish our conversation.

Me:  Isn't that where this started?

Nine and Rose:  But this is where it'll end.


Me:  Oh, all right then.  Have your damn conversation.  But I'm holding you to it.  I won't be responsible for what happens if there isn't any smut forthcoming!  It might mean I start writing Ten/Rose stuff.

Nine:  You wouldn't.


Me:  Don't push it.

Nine:  Okay, okay.  Getting busy...right...now.


Rose:  Me, too!


Me:  Now that's more like it!

I have these types of conversations with my muses, but unfortunately without the aid of the picspam, they don't work so well.

*grins* I have them all the time. They are ridiculous and go on sometimes for hours! And with the dangling, it doesn't always work. I know, you'd think it should but sometimes he wants to express his *gasp* feelings. And things get side-tracked.

True was good too. I didn't really get into that one as much as I was in Buffy and now in Dollhouse. And very true, it was such an iconic role for her. And yeah! That was one of the best pictures of her I have ever seen and I'm glad that you decided to use it! ^_^
