My Beta's on a Date Tonight

Growls.  Doggone it.  Honestly, honestly, honestly I'm really, really happy for Victoria.  I am.  I swear I am.  She's been wanting this guy to ask her out for months and was too shy to make the first move and he was pretty much too shy to make the first move either, but finally, finally got the courage to come over and talk to her when he saw her reading a Doctor Who novel (squees) and he's a huge fan of the new series and a Doctor/Rose shipper! (double squees) and asked her out on a last minute date tonight and it was all very cute and sweet and romantic, but my beta's gone and got herself a life outside of school and...and...I have to wait.  I am such a bad friend.  No, not really, because I am thrilled for her.

And she does promise she'll beta Hunger Moon after her date if  she's not too tired.  Otherwise, morning.  *sighs*  I will not wish a boring life on my beta.  I will not wish a boring life on my beta.  I will not wish a boring life on my beta just because I've become spoiled with super fast turnaround times.
