My smut!fic is nearly up to 5000 words, because I can't seem to focus on anything else, and it has gone and developed a bit of a plot.  Now, what did it want to go and do that for?  It was perfectly respectable smut!fic, minus plot, when it was only 2300 words.  Finally came up with a title for it, too.  I had been calling it "Possessive!Nine fic for Lillibet," probably not a title I could have gotten away with permanently, but now I can rename the file to The Boundaries of Consent.  It's got a tad bit of a domination theme going on, I think, during the smutty bits.  It also managed to sneak in a cameo appearance by someone who was not actually supposed to be in this fic, but apparently seemed to need to be in this fic, even if only for a couple of pages.  He's responsible for bringing the plot.  I shall remain blameless on that front.  Regardless, it serves well as a plot device to make Nine jealous.

FIL survived the surgery on his leg, with his leg intact and it looks like it's going to be okay.  Now they are just worried about his lungs, because they had to do so much work filtering blood after the first surgery.  Or that's what I've been told.  He's on a respirator for now.  They are trying to strike a balance.  He needs to be on blood thinners because of his heart but they have to be careful it doesn't prevent clotting at the site of his leg surgery.  Isn't life fun when it gets complicated?

Rose went back to school today.  Tobias says he wants to try tomorrow.  Let's hope so.  There's only 3 days left in the school year and I'd hate for him to miss it.

See, bit by bit life will calm down and everyone will get well! Just watch yourself, because in times of stress it's easier to catch something ... again.
