Grammar Question

Is it clearer and clearer or more and more clear?

My brain seems to have switched off on proper grammar usage tonight.

I think technically, either is correct, but I always think that more and more clear is the more proper usage.

I love that icon so much. Even though I sometimes make one of those errors. Not on purpose, I swear! Just when I'm in a hurry, the you're/your thing sometimes gets past me.
