Pick up the nearest book to you.
Turn to page 45. The first sentence describes your sex life in 2012.

The book closest to me is The Laura Ingalls Wilder Country Cookbook.

Use fresh vegetables from your garden or your local farm stand.

Deciding maybe I'd do better with the fiction book closest to me I picked up Elizabeth Moon's Rules of Engagement.

"What am I supposed to do if I get kidnapped and need to escape?"

Well, then. Looks like it's going to be a really weird year.

LOL!!

I would participate but the nearest book to me is my Nook and it's got lots of books so I wouldn't know where to start. .

:)

Hope it's a good year for summer squash and zucchini . . .

Normally I would just post this to my own LJ, but this seemed interesting enough to share. The closest book to me doesn't have 45 pages, so I'm going to go with page 35. "One of the more interesting aspects to the internet is the extent to which it has fostered unique new data sets around a seemingly infinite array of phenomena."

It looks like my sex life this centers around Rule 36. ;)

Huh...from Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (which I have not started reading yet)

Irina ran courier, boiled down to the microdots, and played radio for him on a high-speed squirt to beat the listeners.

Well that's just...I don't know, either I'm going to discover I'm a lesbian (assuming Irina is a female name)or I'm going to find a man with an incredibly tiny penis, and have to deal with voyeurs?

LOL. Yes, I daresay it's going to be a pretty interesting year... XD

if it's any consolation, mine was;

"God, no," said Rose quickly. "Just surprised"

Hmm. Clearly, the quote from the first book is answering the question posed by the quote from the second book. I mean, there's some information missing (such as how one is meant to use the fresh vegetables to help in the escape plan), but they do fit together fairly well.

Hmm, Ray Bradbury's Something Wicked This Way Comes

"Boys," she said, "what's wrong? You look as if you lost something."

Ooh, that does not bode well... :O

Charlaine Harris Dead and Gone

"I spent a restless night."

Restless huh? I can work with this......

I just had to add the second sentence.

"I would think of Eric and feel the warm rush of joy, and then think of Eric and want to punch him in the face."

Sounds like love to me.........bwhahahaha!
