I loved all of the interactions between the characters in this chapter but especially the scene with Joan and Pete. I thought it was very poignant that he was able to pick up on the fact that she was thinking about her Husband. So far I like your Joan better than the one in the episodes. She was an interesting character but I didn't like how she treated Martha (even if it was accurate for the time) and of course I didn't like her as a love interest for obvious reasons.
And yay! Rose and Onna are going to the school! (LOVE Onna by the way).
I can't wait to read the upcoming chapters. I am sure Rose is going to be very confused when she meets John, having just been separated from the Doctor. Is she going to just assume he is some sort of doppleganger at first? I guess I will have to wait to find out ;).
