I completely agree with what everyone is saying here. Loved the Rose, Jack, and Brigadier references. Love Rory the more we see him and dislike River the more we see her. She just never has had that special vibe I get from good Doctor Who characters. She seems flat. I love Alex as an actress, but this character does not challenge her at all.
