Another Basic HTML Question

I have another question for all the tech savvy folks on my f-list.  Nothing to do with LJ itself or cuts this time, just how do I make something like this:  www.whofic.com be a link that says the word Teaspoon instead of being the actual words of the link?

Thanks in advance for being so patient with my lack of knowledge.  You guys have been great.

Really? I didn't know that. :D

Yeah. I forgot them once by accident and the link still worked. Stopped using them ever since because I type things out in Word and the auto style tries to make them pretty.

You have to have quotes for lj-cut when you do text, but other than that, you don't need them, It reads it without just fine.

I probably couldn't leave them off if I tried. It's so automatic with me. Like not being able to type in all lower case. :D

Well after the Word incident, when all my links wouldn't work, I just dropped them. I have to use them when I code my website, but here it just helps to forget them (for me, anyway). Because I hate having to fix my fics after I post them.

I can't type in all lower case, unless I am on my phone. Even then I usually type full words and sentences with punctuation and everything.

Actually, you don't need quotes around the text in an LJ cut. I haven't used quotes for cut text in well over a year. Don't need them for usernames either :)

That's the only thing that messes up for me if I don't do quotes. And quotes kill usernames. This I know.
