Oh, my heart broke for the three of them. I was really surprised and very glad that the Doctor interrupted Rose and Mickey's conversation and that they're actually listening to each other again. The moment at the very end, when the baby moved did certainly help -- apart from the fact that it was such a tender, sweet moment.
