Fic Update and Life Update

Well, I have managed to finish chapter nineteen of Leap of Faith even if I did do it while writing in the car.  We've been working pretty hard on the old house, trying to finish up the packing and at least we are making headway now and it looks like it so the only time I've had to write is on the drive back and forth.  We still have such a long way to go, though.  Even when we finish the house we have two sheds to empty.  The front lawn got mowed today for the first time this year.  I didn't feel too bad after seeing that no one else on the block but one person has mowed theirs even though the grass and dandelions are all like eight to ten inches high.  We still need to do a bunch of weed-eating and the backyard though.  And the garden is horrid.

Anyway, the new chapter has been sent off to beta.  I still haven't had time to watch Doctor Who yet.  *shakes  head*  Apparently I'm a bad fangirl these days.  I'll try to get those...other things I talked about up and posted in the next couple days.  I did watch the first one and it is definitely the uncut version so I was very happy.

Good luck with the move. I just barely finished moving a month ago, and my garage is still full of boxes I haven't been able to empty yet.

Looking forward to the next chapter.

Ohhhh, Moving is such a trial. Hope things go smoothly from here out.
I watched the first couple of eps of Who, but i'm having a really hard time connecting with the new doctor. Where Chris and David both had their own types of physical grace, the new one just seems awkward in an adolescent way. Seems to flail a lot. I can't help it, I find him very unappealing. I will keep watching, though. Maybe he will grow on me. The stories seem so Amy-focused, it's hard to work up any enthusiasm.
