I loved this story! I can easily picture it happening during the course of events in the episode, too. Very true to character. And gives a whole new dimension to his line in the next ep "I could save the world and lose you". That line always seemed to imply more to me than what we saw on screen would indicate.

Just the right amount of romance/smut balance as well. I think you're right and any more would have taken away from the storyline. But we'll get smut again soon. Right? Right?
