I've got so much to say! What a lovely, intense chapter. It was one of the ones that was so loving and so deep, especially on Jonathan's end that you wanted to give him privacy but yet couldn't pull your eyes away. In my mind, that means you've utterly succeeded at making him a real person.

Rose is lovely. I adore that she knows what she wants and that she can reassure Jonathan and set boundaries at the same time. It's one reason that I like this Rose, in particular. She's got a good head on her shoulders. I had to be in a few bad relationships before I learned that sometimes, you have to steer the boat in a slightly different direction.

And I love that they both acknowledge that this is going somewhere.

More particularly, I enjoyed the fact that Jonathan stops himself. Whether or not Rose is comfortable with him being that demanding and forceful or not, I think the reason she's so comfortable is that he knows how careful he is.

I also adored the little bit of Spock at the end, and the way Jonathan slowly works his way towards figuring out who he really is.

Fantastic as always, my dear. You have really outdone yourself and I look forward to more (as do all of the other people before me!).
