Drabble Fest # 4

Okay, so I was able to write for each prompt given. Ratings range from All Ages to Adult. Some of these are smutty so not safe for work. Nine/Rose, Ten/Rose and Ten2/Rose.

[livejournal.com profile] ladychi asked for unspecified Doctor/Rose so I picked Ten, and she left the prompt illusion.

He sees all that is, all that was, and all that ever could be. Sometimes when he stares at Rose, he sees even more. It isn’t possible futures or untapped potential. It’s something more than that. Something beyond even his ability to see. It’s like she exists outside of time and space now, the Goddess that saved him then let him die in fire. She flames brightly even without the power. It burns within him, a heat and a light that is his constant companion. When she says she loves him, he can no longer pretend it’s all an illusion.

[livejournal.com profile] milieva asked for Nine/Rose and the prompt was visitor.

The light tap on glass wakes her at half two. She has no doubt who her late night visitor is. She struggles from the bed linens and raises the bedroom window, smiling at the Doctor. She invites him in as if he were a vampire, amused at his hesitance. He’s ungainly as he scrambles in, but there is nothing clumsy about the way he sheds his clothing and joins her in the bed that suddenly seems too small for two bodies. Gasps are swallowed by mouths as quiet hands explore. Two days apart are erased from existence in their joining.

[livejournal.com profile] ramblinsuze asked for Ten/Rose and the prompt was buffalo.

“They’re not technically buffalo,” the Doctor said as Rose commented on the creatures roaming the wide open prairie before her. “Bison are the bovinae that are indigenous to North America during this time, this particular herd being plains bison as opposed to woods bison. Now if you want to see real buffalo I can take you to Africa, although you might have to worry about being hunted by the indigenous people. But really, for practical purposes, this is close enough.” The Doctor trailed off.

“I don’t care what they’re called,” said Rose. “I’m not making love in front of them.”

[livejournal.com profile] larxene_12 wanted Nine/Rose and the prompt was bowling.

“All of time and space at your fingertips and that is what you want to do?”

The Doctor huffed and buried his hands in the pockets of his leather jacket. “I can have a hobby, can’t I?” he asked. “You like to knit those little granny squares and make blankets.”

“Crochet,” said Rose. “And that’s only because you keep the bedroom so cold.”

“You know I need it cold in order to…um…” He blushed and looked away. Heat made him relax too much for sex.

“Um?” Rose inquired, her hand reaching out to stroke him.

He decided bowling could wait.

[livejournal.com profile] turtle_goose wanted Nine/Rose and the prompt was waltz.

Rose is trembling as he approaches her, shaken after being humiliated by Jer’a-sa for not knowing the local dance. The Doctor pulls her into his arms. She buries her face against his soft, black lapel. “I had a word with the conductor.” His voice is gruff and full of emotion. Suddenly the strains of the waltz she had learned in the Scarlet cluster are drifting around them. They had danced to it for hours, even winning a local competition.

Rose straightens, her confidence restored at the familiar music. “Let’s show them how it’s done.” No one questions her ability again.

[livejournal.com profile] debs7 wanted Nine/Rose and the prompt was snow.

“Well?” Rose emerged from the tent in a flurry of glittering white. A nearly invisible veil with sparkles of light covered her hair. “How do I look?”

He stared at her, afraid of putting his foot in his mouth like he had the first time he’d told her she was beautiful, but then nervously qualified it.

“Doctor?” she asked, her confidence shaken by his silence.

He cleared his throat. “You look like…snow,” he said.

“Snow?”

“Freshly fallen, pure, and innocent looking, but with a hundred secrets buried beneath the surface.”

She smiled. For once he’d had the perfect answer.

[livejournal.com profile] six didn't care whether it was Nine or Ten with Rose, and wanted the prompt milk. I chose Nine.

“Your home planet is stressing me out,” the Doctor said. He was tired of stopping by Earth for milk and always having to head off some kind of alien invasion. And then visit Jackie.

Rose laughed. “What’s thwarting another alien invasion to a big, bad Time Lord?” she asked.

“I’m not bad,” he protested.

“But you’re certainly big,” she said. “Would you like me to help get rid of that stress?”

He nodded, blushing to the tips of his large ears.

Her warm mouth suddenly encased him and within fifteen minutes her clever tongue eased all tension from his body.

[livejournal.com profile] teikachikata wanted Ten/Rose and the prompt was moon.

“Do you have a favorite?” Rose asked staring skyward. Five different heavenly bodies orbited the planet in shades of blue, violet, pale green, onyx, and red.

The Doctor shifted nervously, his Converse making heavy footprints in the dust. “You’re my favorite,” he said.

Rose bumped his shoulder. “I meant which moon. I like the green one best, I think.”

“It’s very pretty. Rose?”

“What?”

“The first time we kissed was under a full moon.”

“I remember.” She smiled sadly.

“Since I regenerated... we haven’t…”

She looked startled. “You still want…?”

“I still want.”

It was the perfect second first kiss.

[livejournal.com profile] edensaints said it could be either Nine or Ten and wanted the prompt leverage. This one was a bit tougher than usual, and I almost took the easy way out and had them watching the television show of the same name, but I thought about it a little longer and this happened. This could be either Nine or Ten.

Sometimes, when he thought about it, he’d wonder at the power imbalance in their relationship. He was a Time Lord, a master of time and space and all of its wonders and all of its mysteries. He had an amazing ship and could literally give her the moon if he so chose. He could command her attention with a single word and manipulate her into giving up her life on planet Earth so they could share one together. He could create or destroy at will. Yet every time she smiled at him he knew. She had all of the leverage.

[livejournal.com profile] yumimum wanted Nine/Rose and the prompt was leather.

“Mmm,” Rose said burying her face in the supple side of the Doctor’s jacket.

She was barely standing and he had to support her weight with a hand on her waist.

“You smell like…” She took a deep breath.

“I told you not to eat that,” he said sternly.

“…cinnamon and leather and honey,” she said. She leaned backwards and lost her balance.

He caught her and pulled her back against him. “And sex,” she added.

“You’re high, Rose.”

“Can we have sex?”

“Rose!”

“I mean, you’ve got the parts…”

Her hand drifted down.

“Ask me again when you’re sober.”

[livejournal.com profile] ten_dr_rose wanted Ten2/Rose and the prompt was midnight. Sorry, this one got a little dark.

“I’ve seen this before,” the Doctor said. “I know what it is. I was on this planet. Midnight, it was called. It was when we were separated and there was this thing. I don’t know exactly what it was, but it took over. It made you think you were it and it was you. It spoke your words as you spoke them, thought your thoughts as you thought them.”

“A parasite?”

“Worse,” he said with a shudder. “It was…madness.”

“How do we stop it?”

“We can’t. Don’t let them back on the planet.”

“But they’re human, Doctor!”

“Not anymore.”

[livejournal.com profile] callywaggy didn't specify which Doctor/Rose combination and neither am I for this one, but the prompt was cherries.

The fruit was fresh, her favorite, black cherries. The juice dribbled down the side of her face as she gorged herself on them.

“You’ll regret that in a couple of hours if you don’t slow down,” the Doctor told her.

“Have some,” she offered, holding out a handful to him.

“Why, Rose Tyler, are you trying to tempt me into sin?” he asked.

“Did that ages ago,” she said with a grin. “And this is no Garden of Eden.”

“No, but I can take you to Paradise.” He wiggled his eyebrows.

She groaned, but took him up on his offer.

[livejournal.com profile] ninefiend did not specify Doctors so I chose Ten2/Rose for the prompt of beach.

They had toured thirty-seven different stretches of sand on their honeymoon before Rose gave up her grudge against the ocean. In their years apart she had come to hate the beach and still wasn’t terribly fond of it when two Doctors stood before her and she lost one, but gained so much more in the other. But it wasn’t until this beach on this day when she made love with her new husband somewhere off the coast of Spain that she thought maybe she’d grow to love it again. Things changed. He changed. She changed. It was for the better.

[livejournal.com profile] julisana wanted Ten/Rose and Mulligan. This one was a little harder, but since mulligan basically means a second chance to perform a certain move or action, I went with the second chance theme. I think it works. I didn't actually use the word in the drabble though, just the meaning.

He promised himself that from this moment forward he would do everything right by Rose. For Rose. With Rose. He’d made a mistake, the biggest mistake of his life since joining it to hers. He’d let himself get a swollen head because a beautiful woman, the consort of a king had wanted him. He’d lost sight of what he’d wanted, what he’d wanted since the moment he asked her to come with him, twice. Rose had forgiven him. She’d even promised him forever. He would take advantage of this second chance. This time around, he’d do all of it right.

[livejournal.com profile] valiant_queene wanted Nine/Rose and pouting.

“You’re pouting,” Rose pointed out as the Doctor leaned against the doors of the TARDIS.

He glared. “I am not.”

“Are you kidding me? A bird could land on that lower lip,” she told him.

“I don’t want to go.”

“You agreed to it,” she pointed out.

“Asking me something right before I come is not playing fair,” the Doctor growled.

Rose laughed. “And you’d have agreed to come to a wedding with me if I’d asked nicely?”

“That’s my point.” He crossed his arms.

“I’ll suck you off in the coat room,” she wheedled. He glared. “Twice.”

“Let’s go.”

[livejournal.com profile] develish1 gave no preference for which Doctor but I kind of saw this as Ten/Rose, and the prompt was lemons.

The heady scent of the lemon grove invaded the Doctor’s senses, but not enough to distract him from Rose who rose and fell above him, her body writhing as it sought out all the pleasure it could take from him. He thrust up into her, his hands gripping her hips, bringing her down harder. She was biting her lip, a sure sign of impending pleasure. Seconds later she tightened around him wrenching his orgasm from him as she called out his name. She fell back onto the grass, crushing lemons beneath her back. Bananas were no longer his favorite fruit.
